A scandinavian-inspired design company building modern, affordable furniture and storage units, haling out of Toronto, CA, making a move to the digital landscape (web, interactive) as the company’s core promotional medium.
In collaboration with Consulat and Locomotive, we were tasked to build the digital brand and design the user experience in an intuitive platform to present and sell its new product line. I was in charge of art directing previously designed elements (photography, color sets per product, etc), curate them, and conceptualize both the layout and motion design of the web UI, which also had to be planned to be responsive and work impeccably across devices.
I worked in tandem with Kvell’s creative directors to craft a modern, colorful and minimalist interface that works and feels great across devices, by fleshing out several options for UI elements and motion style, starting with basic wires and finishing in high fidelity screens with short clips that prototyped the motion design and user journey.
